WHAT WE DO
All of life is worship, a celebration of God’s love and faithfulness in our experiences.
When we gather for worship, we join our voices in praise, listen to God speak to us through the Bible, and pray together.

Baptism
In baptism we celebrate God’s love for us in Jesus Christ, given to us long before we knew anything about it. As Congregationalists, we baptise infants as part of a covenanted community. Baptism is a sign of God’s grace made to a child, a gift of faith nurtured by parents and congregation until they are able to decide to follow Jesus for themselves. There are those within our fellowship who hold to ‘believers’ baptism’. A person is baptised after they have made a commitment to place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. We honour and respect the diversity of views of baptism. If you wish to be baptised, please contact the Minister via the Church Office on 01242 522050 or email highburyoffice@yahoo.co.uk
Weddings
At present, we are a registered building for marriages between a woman and man. Consideration of equal marriage is something we have yet to discuss at Church Meeting. If you wish to be married, please contact the Minister via the Church Office on 01242 522050 or email highburyoffice@yahoo.co.uk
Funerals
If you wish to have a funeral in the church, crematorium, or graveside,
please contact the Minister via the Church Office on 01242 522050
